Awaaz dashboard: live matches across sports, filterable by women's and men's games
The problem

Most women's and grassroots matches are played with no commentary at all. Fans following a scorecard get numbers, not a story — and blind and low-vision fans get nothing.

Who it's for
  • Fans. Live commentary for matches nobody else covers, in their own language, on their phone.
  • Schools, leagues and tournament organisers. Commentary for every game without a commentary crew, and a replay families can share.
  • Broadcasters and clubs in the Gulf. Calls in Arabic, Urdu, Hindi and Filipino as well as English, for the crowds they serve.
  • Fans who are blind or have low vision. Every ball, goal and basket spoken out loud as it happens.
How it works
  1. Live scores come in as they happen: every ball in cricket, every goal and chance in football, every basket in basketball.
  2. Awaaz writes a short call for each moment: a caller says what happened, and an expert adds the score and what it means.
  3. Natural AI voices speak it within seconds. When the match ends, the whole call stays available as a replay.
Our approach

Read live scores and ball-by-ball data as they happen, turn each moment into a short exchange between a caller and an expert (a woman's voice), and speak it with neural voices. Every line is stored, so a replay sounds exactly like the live call.

What we built
  • Live dashboard of cricket, football and basketball, filterable by sport and by women's or men's games
  • Two-voice commentary on every ball or key moment, in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi or Filipino
  • Calls fifties, hundreds and a bowler's wicket tally, and gets livelier on the big moments
  • Replay of any finished match, with play-from-here on every ball, goal or basket
  • Over-by-over view for cricket, and a player that keeps going while you browse
  • Signed, edge-cached voice lines so replays cost nothing and the voice can't be misused
What it demonstrates

Agentic Workflows — AI that turns structured live data into natural, multilingual voice in seconds. Began at the ICC × Ignyte "Beyond Boundaries" hackathon, where it was a top-5 finalist in Dubai. Scores come from public live feeds during the beta.
